According to a recent post from the local Facebook group Tenleytown and Around, the space looks essentially finished.
The lights are on inside, the interior is set up, and a worker on site told the group that opening is expected within the next few days. Botiwalla’s own website has not offered a firm date, still displaying only a “coming soon” message, but the visible progress at the storefront suggests the wait will not stretch on much longer.
One commenter on the post described walking past the location twice early in the morning and said the restaurant already looks polished and inviting from the outside, even before its official debut.

Paris Baguette, the popular bakery and cafe chain, is already open nearby, along with the beauty salon Maison de Beaute and a OneLife Fitness gym.
A Lidl grocery store sits just around the corner, giving residents an easy one-stop shopping trip that now includes groceries, fitness, personal care, and dining all within a short walk.
