Alabama Man Films Neighbor Appearing to Look Through His Window—And the Internet Is Divided

He starts with a picture taken from inside his own house: a woman standing in his driveway, facing his window. The Alabama man says he did not know her, had never spoken to her, and had no idea why she was there. Then, he claims, she came back — again and again, within minutes.

In a TikTok video, the man opens by saying, “Tell me I’m not the only one who thinks this behavior is [expletive] weird.” He then shows footage of the woman standing outside his window and appearing to look toward the inside of the house before walking away. The area shown, he explains, was “our private driveway that leads up to our private house.” His family had never spoken to them; all he knew was they had moved several houses down about a year and a half earlier.

He said the woman had stopped in front of the house to see whether anyone was home. He claimed she repeated the behavior several times within five to 10 minutes. “The strangest and most concerning part about this whole thing is the fact that this woman felt so comfortable walking up into a stranger’s driveway, looking into a stranger’s house that she doesn’t even know,” he said.

Why the Comments Turned

From there, the video shifted from the woman’s behavior to what the man perceived to be her faith. “If I wanted to live in the UK, I would just [expletive] move there,” he said, criticizing what he described as “cultural sensitivity.” He did not explain the UK reference, and offered no evidence her religion played any role in why she approached his home. Asked why he did not speak to her, he claimed her “cultural norms” prevented eye contact — another unevidenced assumption. He also responded positively to commenters suggesting actions aimed at her perceived faith.

The comments split along the same line. “They don’t understand how America works. And they’re not even trying,” one person wrote. Another commented, “WE SHOULD ALL BE CONCERNED.” But some stuck to practical advice: “Get a no trespassing sign and put it where it’s very visible. Then when it happens again file a police report with video evidence. They will tell her to stop.”

Why she came to his driveway remains unclear from the short footage, which appears to show her near the home looking toward a window but does not reveal her reason or confirm his claim of repeated visits. Viewers couldn’t agree on the real story: a neighbor crossing a line that needed a police report, or a dispute that stopped being about a driveway the moment her perceived religion entered it.
